Bug Bright is abuzz with excitement—a hands-on adventure where kids (and kids at heart) create a radiant glow bug, adding a tiny twinkle of light to bring it to life. But this journey isn’t just about crafting a bug; it’s about connecting with your emotions, learning to pause, breathe, and let your inner light shine through big feelings.

At the Bug Bright pop-up booth, participants will craft their glowing critter using simple materials, cell batteries, and LEDs. This fun activity blends the magic of art with the wonder of science, helping participants explore emotional awareness while learning the basics of circuits in a playful, interactive way.

To help keep your inner glow shining long after the craft is complete, participants can pick up a copy of  A Light-Up Guide to Calming Big Emotions at the Bug Bright pop-up—an inspiring FREE interactive zine. 

Bug Bright is a FREE, family-friendly activity that requires no art skills—just a curious spirit and a willingness to explore how a little light (and a spark of mindfulness) can help us beam from the inside out. Bug Bright shines a light on emotions through creativity, mindfulness, and science.
