 Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a few of the most common questions I’ve received. Of course if you would like additional information or have other questions prior to booking please email me:

  • I ask that parents arrive 15 minutes prior to the workshop start time to ensure kids have time to get comfortable in the space and we are able to start on time. If you arrive late, not a problem I will make sure your child can jump in.

  • Parents are not required to stay with their child and participate in the workshop. Though you are welcome to stay and observe. I do ask that parents be available via cell phone for the duration of the workshop should there be any unexpected issues or your child wishes to leave early.

  • Of course. Simply use the quantity button at checkout to select the number of children you would like to register.

  • I understand life happens and schedules can change. If your child is unable to attend a workshop for any reason simply email or call as soon as possible. Refunds will be made up to 48 hours prior to the workshop.

  • Workshops are not intended to improve a child’s skills in a particular artistic medium or creative technique. It’s about using visual media as a conduit for them to explore and express their internal selves. No artistic skill is needed to benefit from an art therapy session, just an interest to engage in the creative process.

Why register?

Social-emotional competence in childhood acts as a building block to support an individual throughout one's life. Art-based interventions and mindful awareness strategies can help build an adaptive emotional regulation response.

The overarching goal is to be a catalyst for change, to use art as a medium to enhance the emotional intelligence of the next generation, to make it, CRATE.
