Just Bee In Action

MATERIALS

  • Colored heart paper

  • 2 compostable straws

  • 1 CRATE connector sticker

  • Fishing line

  • Assorted stickers (circles, hearts and stars)

INSTRUCTIONS

1 Stick the straws. Peel the backing off the CRATE connector sticker and place both straws side-by-side on the sticky surface.

2 Make your bug. Use the heart paper to create a bee, butterfly, or imaginary flying friend. Watch the video for ideas.

3 Decorate. Add stickers, hearts, stars, and circles to give your bug personality.

4 Fasten bug. Attach your bug t the sticky side of the connector.

5 Add string. Thread fishing line through both straws and tie a loop.

6 Make It move. Hold the fishing line taut and guide your bug back and forth.
